Goldfinger books place in Germany

Andrew Gilding booked his place in this year’s German Darts Masters after coming through two rounds of qualifying on Sunday.

The Walsham-le-Willows Sports Club thrower beat Ritchie Edhouse 6-4 and then Robbie Green 6-5 to secure a spot in the European Tour event.

Earlier in the day, Gilding lost 6-1 to Ricky Evans in the final round of qualifying for the Dutch Masters.

n Stowmarket’s Lewis Cracknell missed out on a PDC tour card after losing in the early rounds of all four days at Q-School.
