Bury St Edmunds third team were forced to settle for a share of the spoils during their home clash with Haverhill II on Saturday.

The hosts took the lead through Emily Bull, but Haverhill drew level before the break.

The second half was dominated by Bury, yet despite creating a number of chances, they were unable to breach the away side’s goal for a second time.

n In Division 1N, Bury Ladies I endured a miserable afternoon as they lost 7-0 at Cambridge City II.

The hosts held a 1-0 lead at half-time, before going on to score a further six goals in the second half.

n Bury St Edmunds Ladies II also tasted defeat as they went down 2-1 to Great Yarmouth, with Julie Grayling on target for the losing team.

n In the East Men’s League Division Three North East, Bury St Edmunds I kept hold of their place in second spot thanks to a 2-0 win over their Lowestoft Railway I counterparts.

Goals either side of half-time from Steve Tassel and Nik Ciappi sealed all of the points.

n Bury St Edmunds Men’s II are fourth in the same division after overcoming Ipswich East Suffolk III 3-1 on their own patch.

n In Division 4NE, Bury St Edmunds Men’s III won by the odd goal in seven over Pelicans.

Carl Nessman and Rob Johnson found the backboard to help seal the 4-3 triumph.

n Simon Davis gave Bury St Edmunds Men’s V a 1-0 lead over home side Norwich Exiles I.

But the hosts battled back in the closing stages to record a 2-1 win in the Division 4NE encounter.

n Henry Skillern and Elliot Gregory helped themselves to two goals each as Bury St Edmunds Men’s VI thrashed an understrength Ipswich Cranes II outfit 9-0 in Division 7NE.

Phil Gibbs, Matthew Flack, Henry Whiley, Marcus Skillern and Hugo Thompson also got their names on the scoresheet to complete the rout.

n Bury Men’s Over-40s team were convincingly beaten 8-1 in the Knockout Plate by Cambridge City.
