Bury St Edmunds continue to plan for 2019/20 National League 2 South season with four new players agreeing to sign
Bury St Edmunds have continued their early preparations for next season with four new players agreeing to join the club for 2019/20.
The Wolfpack, who sit eighth in National League 2 South with four games of the 2018/19 campaign left to play, have been busy planning for next season, with 16 players of the current squad already committed for next term.
And Bury have now also revealed four new signings who have agreed to join in 2019/20, including two players from higher league Bishop's Stortford.
Ricky McFarlane (hooker) and Alex Leo (back row/second row) are both set to arrive in pre-season, with the latter having played age-grade rugby for England at Under-16s and Under-18s level, as well as Italy at Under-19s and Under-20s.
Young South African prop Vaughan Bentley, who can play across the whole front row, was recently at Stellenbosch University, in South Africa, and has settled in well since arriving earlier this month.
Luc Lee (centre/wing) links up with the Wolfpack after playing with Camberley, and has also represented Hertfordshire at Under-18s and Under-20s.
On Saturday, Bury were beaten 24-22 away at Clifton, but Nick Wakley's men did come away with two bonus points, courtesy of tries from Mark Kohler, Paddy Robinson and Finlay Sharp (two).
