Thetford Bulldog Belles Under-14s dominated throughout their 8-0 triumph at Scole United Girls in our match of the week.

Aimee Frost bagged a brace — including one teed up by new signing Eva Bell — while Shannon Richardson, Jess Horn, Melissa Boulton, Olivia Baker, an own goal and Lauren Stannard were also on target.

The latter converted Mia Arnold’s pass for her goal.

Man-of-the-match Ben Frost bagged four goals as Thurston Under-16s defeated St Johns 6-1.

With Jordy Hunter battling throughout, captain Sam Shepherd and Hugo Grayling also netted, while Felix Covington-Cross, Rob Wallis and Jack Horn contributed to three of Frost’s goals.

Chloe Slater was named the player of the match, but Brandon Lasses Under-16s slipped to a 3-0 defeat at home to Waveney. Chloe Bentick and Kaitlyn Novotny performed well on debut.

Bury Town Under-15s were unable to build on a bright start in their 6-1 defeat to Mendlesham.

The Blues had taken the lead when Lucas Balista was brought down and Patrick Barry converted a penalty.

Brandon Town Under-13s beat Tasburgh 12-0 in their first home game of the season.

Devon Lockwood and Teddy Webber each scored a first-half hat-trick and there were further strikes for each after the interval, while Jayden Drewery (two), Luke Corby and Samuel Watts also netted.

Lakenheath Under-13s continued their great start to the season with a 3-2 victory over last year’s South Norfolk Youth League champions Swanton Morley.

Tyler Garret put them in front, a lead doubled when Jake Alecock teed up Matthew Hinchley.

Morley clawed their way back, but Tom Younge looped in a winner to maintain Heath’s 100 per cent record.

Brandon Town Under-12s bounced back from their opening-day 4-2 defeat to win at Rocklands by the same scoreline this week.

Man-of-the-match James Lockwood stood strong in the Brandon goal and Morgan Elrick fired them into a 2-0 lead.

Finley Woods stretched Brandon’s advantage further before Elrick completed his hat-trick. Although Rocklands got two goals back, Brandon remained a threat and Zac Grimwood and Jack Townsend both hit the bar.

Dominic Curry scored five times and Rees Boddy four as Bury Town Bulldogs Under-12s won 16-0 at Honington Foxes.

Ben Rogers and Niall Henry each bagged a brace, while Laurence Chappel, Matthew Portway and Elliot Hinton were also on target.

Goalkeeper Charlie Webber had little to do, but pulled off a fine save when the Foxes broke through.

Brandon Town Under-7s began their campaign at Feltwell, with the hosts’ Ryan Vincent and Brandon’s Archie Granger named the players of the match.
