Bury Town stretched their unbeaten record to eight matches, but were forced to settle for a goalless draw with Thamesmead Town in the Ryman League Premier Division.

At the end of a tough week for the Blues — during which off-the-field issues dominated the news — a crowd of 327 turned up to show their support for the club, only their sixth highest of the campaign so far.

The visitors struck the crossbar just before half-time through Shamir Mullings, while Danny Cunningham missed Bury Town’s best chance when he hit the post after the break.
