Needham Market will travel to Witham Town on Tuesday in the semi-finals of the Ryman League Division One North play-offs after an incredible afternoon at Bloomfields.

With the Marketmen needing to win, fifth-placed Thurrock to lose and a six-goal swing take place in difference, Needham thrashed Chatham Town 7-1.

Sam Newson was among the scorers with a hat-trick as Needham took advantage of Thurrock’s 2-1 defeat to Tilbury.
