Bury Town recorded their first clean sheet of the season in a drab affair with Hampton and Richmond Borough at Ram Meadow on Saturday.

The goalless draw meant the Blues maintained their unbeaten start to the season ahead of tomorrow’s trip to AFC Hornchurch.

Sam Newson second strike of the season earned Needham Market a point at Heybridge Swifts in Ryman One North.

Thetford Town and Mildenhall Town progressed to the preliminary round of the FA Cup, but Walsham-le-Willows were knocked out by Essex Senior League outfit Tower Hamlets.

Craig Skipp netted a screamer as the Brecklanders beat local rivals Diss Town, while Allicion Blake hit a hat-trick in Mildenhall’s 6-1 thrashing of Sawbridgeworth Town.
