VIDEO: Bury Town boss says ‘4-1 not a fair reflection’

Have your say

Bury Town manager Ben Chenery thought the 4-1 scoreline at home to Margate on Saturday did not reflect his side’s performance, despite being down to 10 men.

The Blues boss expressed his pride at the spirited display to deputy sports editor Russell Claydon following Saturday’s game at Ram Meadow.

Their fifth straight defeat left Bury in the bottom three of the division.

Bury are next in action when they travel to fierce rivals AFC Sudbury on Tuesday in the Robert Dyas Isthmian League Cup first round (7.45pm).
