BURY TOWN’S Suffolk derby with Lowestoft Town due to take place today (Tuesday) has been called off due to a water logged and frozen pitch.

Following an inspection at Ram Meadow this morning the game, originally scheduled to be played on Bank Holiday Monday, will not take place as planned.

Bury Town officials had hoped to play the match on Wednesday evening but the pitch has been deemed unplayable and their next fixture will be at Aveley on Monday (January 3).

The Ryman League Premier clash with Lowestoft will now take place at a date to be arranged.
