There will a new name on the Mick McNeil Cup as both last season’s finalists are no longer in the competition, writes Bill Tinkler.

In an all Division One tie, table toppers St Edmunds 1965 entertained Bedrics Worth.

Goals from Peter Griffiths and Sam Whiting gave St Edmunds a 2-1 win. Ash Hayhoe netted for Bedrics Worth.

Division Three Vipers, who netted through Jutty Nunn and Joe Moye, defeated Division Two leaders Trunk, who registered through Micah Cummins, 2-1.

Goals from Pat Barker and Mark Heffer saw Walsham le Willows B book their place in the last four of the Fairplay Cup with a 2-0 victory over Elmswell.

Jamie Young, Charlie MacDowell and Chris Sanders were on target for Thurston during a 3-0 win over Black Boy in Division Two, while Bury Town Rams B defeated Bury Wanderers 2-1.

Nathan Head and Matt Hawkins scored for Rams and Stacey Baker replied for Wanderers.

In Division Three, Wortham surprised leaders AFC Weeting 2-1 with Jay Rose (penalty) and Luke Halil netting.

James Langley was the Weeting goalscorer.

n Meanwhile, the outstanding Plastic Trade Frames Bury Sunday League Division One KO Cup semi-final saw Tostock score nine without reply against Bury Bowl, writes Ian Friend.

An impressive Ben Atkinson hat-trick was added to by Steve Fenner (2), Pete Griffith (2), Sam Goddard and Sammy Orr in what proved a comfortable afternoon for Tostock.
