Walsham-le-Willows moved a step closer to securing their Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division status thanks to a 2-2 draw with Ipswich Wanderers on Monday night.
The encounter had been due to be played on Saturday, but the rain saw it postponed.
And, it was Walsham that came out of the blocks quickest thanks to two goals from Tanner Call.
However, Wanderers responded to ensure that the spoils would be shared and that moved Walsham six points clear of the drop zone.
There was less joy for the Willows on Wednesday night however, as they slipped to a 2-1 loss to visiting Norwich United. On Saturday, they travel to Brantham (3pm).
n Thetford Town were due to play away at FC Clacton last Saturday, but the game was washed out.
It has been rearranged for Tuesday night (7.45pm), but before that on Saturday, Town travel to Saffron Walden (3pm).
n Mildehall Town were involved in a six-goal thriller on Wednesday night as they played out a 3-3 draw at Fakenham Town. This Saturday, Hall play their final home game of the season against Felixstowe (3pm).
n In the First Division Stowmarket Town blew a two-goal lead to lose 3-2 at Halstead Town last weekend.
Goals from Matt Dixon and Wayne Proctor put visiting Stow in command, but they were pegged back by three second-half goals from the hosts, who also had a man sent off. On Wedensday night they fell to another defeat, going down 2-1 at Needham Market Reserves.
March Town United will be the visitors on Saturday (3pm) before Stow travel to Haverhill Borough on Tuesday (7.45pm) and then host Team Bury on Thursday (7.45pm).
n Bury prepared for that game with a 5-0 thrashing at the hands of Braintree Town Reserves. Tomorrow they travel to Diss Town (3pm) and then Needham Markest Reserves on Tuesday (7.45pm).
