In Division One, Stanton Reserves (5th) entertained Wortham first team (7th).
The spoils were shared in a 1-1 draw, Seth O’Bannion scoring for Stanton and James Miller for Wortham.
Second-placed Westbury United’s visitors were St Edmunds 1965 (3rd), the Saints taking all three points with a 3-0 win. On target for St Eds were Simon Gresham, Sam Whiting and Ben Oxley.
Division leaders Home Guard were away to Bury Town Rams A where goals from Clayton Dyer and a Callum Brown hat-trick gave the Guard a 4-1 win. Kaine Fryer netted for the Rams.
In an all St Edmundsbury League County Primary Cup tie, Bury Wanderers lost 5-1 to AFC Black Boy.
On target were Jordan Whippy (4), which included a first half hat-trick and Phil Cowlan (2).
Kevin Smith was the Wanderers’ goalscorer.
Wortham bowed out of the Primary Cup after being beaten 6-0 by a good Bacton side.
In another all St Edmundsbury clash, RF Saints welcomed the Trunk to their new ground in Pakenham. The Trunk winning emphatically 7-1. Scorers were Liam Green (4) and goal apiece for Micah Cummins, Pete Miller, and Dave Rothan. Iain Walker scored the Saints’ consolation goal.
The Vipers were drawn against Cambs League Division Five side Hundon Reserves at the British Sugar ground. A Barry Budgen treble and a goal from Chris Hills gave the Vipers a 4-1 success.
Walsham-le-Willows B were away to SIL outfit Old Newton Reserves, with Old Newton winning 5-1. Keiron Fisher netted for the Bs.
