Ryan Currell scored the only goal of the game as Frames Conservatories Direct Bury and District Sunday League Division Four outfit Occold shocked Division One side Redgrave in the West Suffolk Motor Factors Open Cup quarter-finals, writes Ian Friend.

Ash Macdonald, Mark Gardiner, Lee Pallot, Sam Peters, Henry Scott and Steve Ryder all scored as Bury Bowl thrashed Cockfield 7-0 in the same competition, while Gym United advanced past Cock Inn and Tuddenham overcame Tostock.

In the first round of the Floodlit Cup, Lavenham won 17-1 at AFC Mildenhall, but Palgrave’s home match with Westbury was abandoned after a serious injury to Westbury’s Robert Hanratta.

Metro Inns required extra-time to defeat Great Barton 4-2 at the Heath, Eastbury scored the only goal of the game at Moreton Hall and Rattlesden beat Rougham 10-1.

Norton Dog and Deers Leap were both unable to raise teams, so CFC Bury A and Lucky Break received byes.

In Division Two, Black Boy defeated Club Brazilla 2-1, while Abbotts won by the odd goal in three at home to Danepak in Division Four.
