In the Year Four competition, Abbots Green played some good football in the final, but their opponents Hardwick just seemed stronger and wanted it more. Despite a well-struck penalty, the Hardwick goalkeeper made a great save in a very even first half.
Hardwick took an early lead in the second half, before a great save from their goalkeeper kept the score at 1-0.
Abbots Green tried to press for an equaliser, but Hardwick scored two more goals to secure a 3-0 win and eventually get their name on the trophy after 20 years of trying.
