Needham Market have been rewarded with another home tie in the FA Cup after being pitted against Dunstable Town in today’s draw for the second round qualifying stage.

The Marketmen secured their place in the hat with a narrow 3-2 victory over Brantham Athletic courtesy of a brace from Sam Newson and further strike from former Colchester United captain Kemal Izzet on his debut.

Meanwhile, a trip to Hemel Hempstead Town awaits as an incentive for Christian Appleford’s Mildenhall Town if they can first get past Witham Town tomorrow (7.45pm) in their first round qualifying replay.

The sides are set to do battle again at Mildenhall’s Recreation Way following a hard fought 1-1 draw on Saturday.
