Tonight’s Suffolk Premier Cup quarter-final between Woodbridge Town and Bury Town has been postponed.

A waterlogged pitch at Notcutts Park has caused the match to be called off and rearranged for a later date.

Although not confirmed at this time, Woodbridge are hoping for the tie to be played on Wednesday, December 4, providing Bury Town’s FA Trophy first round fixture with Eastleigh does not go to a replay.

The Blues are the current holders of the Premier Cup having defeated Lowestoft Town 2-0 at Portman Road last season thanks to goals from Craig Parker and Tom Bullard.

Needham Market advanced to the semi-finals last night with a 3-0 win over Hadleigh United thanks to a brace from Jamie Guy and a solitary strike by Darryl Coakley.
