Bury Town completed their pre-season friendly schedule with a victory at Ram Meadow on Tuesday night.
In a competitive match, the Blues took the lead when Walsham goalkeeper Kevin Bugg mishandled a shot from Lee Smith and the ball bounced over the line in the 25th minute.
Walsham attempted to hit back and striker Andrew Wood was unlucky to see his attempt go narrowly wide as the first half came to a close.
After the break the fast tempo of the game continued but Bury showed the beeter passing and movement and should have increased their lead.
