Despite the new season being almost three months away, Needham Market have already been busy, both on and off the pitch.

Manager Mark Morsley has swooped for the services of Emmanuel Osei, who has signed on at Bloomfields for the 2016-17 season.

The striker, who has played for a number of clubs, including Lowestoft Town, is known to Morsley from their time together at Leiston.

Meanwhile, the Ryman League Premier Division club have announced that the services of first team players Ollie Brown, Ollie Mann and Jordan Patrick will not be retained.

Each player has been released, which means that they are free to find themselves alternative teams.

It also appears that experienced midfielder Kem Izzet will be heading for the exit, having been placed on the transfer list.

That news comes after the 35-year-old was recently relieved of his duties as part of the club’s academy.

A further change has come in the dugout, with Kevin Horlock departing.

The former Ipswich Town midfielder was only appointed as Morsley’s assistant late last month, but he has now taken the manager’s job at Maldon and Tiptree, which he will combine with the role of assistant manager of Colchester United’s Under-21s.

Needham are yet to make an official announcement regarding their pre-season friendlies, but Mildenhall Town have confirmed a game against Morsley’s men, which is set to be played at Recreation Way on Saturday, July 23.
