BURY Town had to settle for a 2-2 draw after Farnborough fought back from two goals down to force a replay of their FA Trophy third qualifying round tie on Saturday.

Billy Clark had given the visiting Blues an early two goal lead, scoring after just three minutes, before adding his second eight minutes later for a convincing advantage at the break.

But the home side responded 20 minutes after the interval, pegging Bury back with two goals in as many minutes to claim a draw and force a replay, which will take place at Ram Meadow on Tuesday (7.45pm).

Needham Market stretched their consecutive winning streak in the Ryman League Division One North table to eight matches after a vital 2-1 victory in the top of the table clash over second placed Grays Athletic at Bloomfields on Saturday.

A Sam Newson double either side of half time, his 20th and 21st league goals of the season, proved enough in a tense affair as despite Anthony Ryan pulling a goal back in the 75th minute, the hosts held on to take a three point advantage at the top of the table.
