Bury face six-pointer

Have your say

TEAM Bury travel to basement boys Stowmarket Town in a Ridgeons First Division relegation six-pointer with both teams in the bottom three.

Bury have only won once in their last six games, but have no goalscoring problems with six goals in their last two games.

Stowmarket will be looking to end 2011 on a high after the club have suffered five consecutive losses and their last victory came in late October.

Meanwhile, table-toppers Thetford Town host a resurgent Debenham LC side who have five consecutive victories and are only two points off Thetford in third.

However, Thetford have five games in hand over the visitors and three points will round off their 2011 with a very comfortable lead at the top of the table.

Meanwhile, in the Ridgeons Premier Division, Mildenhall Town host Stanway Rovers tonight in a mid-table clash and then travel to third-placed Ely City three days later, with Ely on a run of three wins out of four.

Elsewhere in the Premier Division, Walsham-le-Willows look to move away from the relegation zone but face a challenge away to second-place Brantham Athletic on Saturday before playing league leaders Wroxham, who are ten games unbeaten, on Monday.
