BURY Town’s impressive league form continued on Saturday after stretching their unbeaten run to eight matches following a comfortable 3-0 victory over Horsham.

The Blues delighted the home fans at Ram Meadow as first half strikes from Lee Smith, Kieran Leabon and Lee Reed ensured the victory which leaves Bury fourth in the Ryman league Premier Division.

The club will be looking to extend that run when they travel to East Thurrock United tomorrow (7.45pm).

Needham Market recorded back-to-back wins in Ryman League Division One North following a narrow 3-2 win away to Potters Bar Town on Saturday.

The visitors found themselves two goals up following Duane Wright’s 12th minute opener and an Angelo Harrop strike after 49 minutes, before Potters Bar responded with strikes from James Gershfield and Reece Loudon to level the scores.

However, Needham secured all three points with just 10 minutes remaining as Joe O’Brien inadvertently deflected the ball into his own net to gift the visitors victory.
