Midfielder David Bridges has left Bury Town to join Skrill Conference North promotion chasers Brackley Town.
The former Stevenage Borough man joined the Blues from Chelmsford City in the summer and was hailed as the Suffolk side’s marquee signing.
He revealed the move on his Twitter feed and becomes the second player to leave the club in the last fortnight, following striker Shane Tolley — who moved to St Neots Town — out of the Ram Meadow exit door.
This afternoon’s match between Bury Town and Leiston has been postponed following a second pitch inspection at 1pm.
