Great Barton went goal crazy in their Frames Conservatories Direct Bury and District Sunday League Division Four game with AFC Mildenhall at the weekend, writes Ian Friend.
Jamie Ashford and Stephen Wright each bagged four-goal hauls, while there was a hat-trick for Declan Walsh, a brace for Matthew Crouch and single strikes for Aaron Downey, Andrea Downey, Martin Reynolds, Adam Sait and Daniel Anderson in Barton’s 18-0 triumph.
Also in Division Four, Westbury drew 1-1 with Thorndon Vipers and Abbotss 07 beat AFC Moreton Hall 3-1.
Bury Bowl were 2-1 up against Howards in Division One, but they ended up on the wrong end of a 4-2 result.
Meanwhile, Gym United, Cock Inn and CFC Bury A all won.
In Division Two, Cockfield enjoyed a 4-0 success at Chedburgh, while there were also victories for Black Boy, Walsham and Thurston, as well as a 4-4 draw between Lucky Break and Garboldisham.
Alfie Brindle scored five of Coldham Hall’s goals in their 7-1 victory over Eastbury Eagles in their Division Three encounter.
Horringer Social Club got back to winning ways with a 4-2 success at Deers Leap.
Lavenham and Great Welnetham were also victorious in the division, while Palgrave and Metro Inns shared the points.
