First fishathon event proves a success

Mel Jenner’s Lakes first annual Fishathon in aid of Macmillan Woodlands Centre proved a huge success.

A total of 18 keen anglers took part in the event over the two nights and two days and raised towards £1200, with donations still being made towards the cause. Plans have already begun for next year’s event which be over two lakes instead of one with the hope of a greater participation.
