The 33rd Bury St Edmunds Chess Congress is expected to attract a capacity entry of around 170 players.

This will include last year’s winner Matthew Sadler, who is currently the number-one graded British player in the rankings.

The event takes place over the weekend of October 24 and 25, at the Apex.
