CFC Bury to host Mellis in Sunday showpiece

Mellis and CFC Bury will meet in the divisional cup final, writes Ian Friend.

Mellis defeated Thurston 5-2, while CFCBury won 4-2 at Coldham Hall, with Dan Portway, Aaron Marsden and Luke Spivey (2) on target.

In Division One, Tostock lost to Gym Utd who came back from 2-1 down to win 6-2.

LABAS lost 4-2 at home to Bury Bowl who scored through Fethi Jarboui, John Nice, Ryan Mclees and Matt Smith.

In Division Two, Gt Whelnetham beat Chedburgh 8-1 and in division three, Cheveley defeated Gt Barton 3-1.

In Division Four, Badwell Ash thrashed Elmswell 8-3, while the clash of the two Westbury’s saw Wanderers win 4-3 against the Social Club. Eriswell defeated Rattlesden 5-4.

This weekend sees Tostock and Bury Bowl meet in their outstanding cup semi-final.
