Bury Town have confirmed goalkeeper Alex Archer has extended his loan at the Ryman League Premier Division club until the end of the season.

The stopper moved from AFC Sudbury in November after previous custodian Marcus Garnham went the other way permanently.

Leaving the club though is young midfielder Ross Bailey, who has joined Dereham Town in Ryman League Division One North.

Bailey has spent time with Mildenhall Town this season, as well as making 11 appearances for the Blues.

Manager Ben Chenery told Bury’s official website: “Ross needs to find more game time at this point in his career and I told him that his chances would be limited here for the rest of the season, so I have helped him find a new club in the Ryman League and this will help his development.”
