Bury appoint new performance manager

Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club has continued to strengthen its coaching set-up ahead of the 2016-17 season with the appointment of Tom Bryan as performance manager.

Bryan joins the club taking responsibility for strength and conditioning coaching for the senior rugby squad and the newly-formed senior academy.

He will also support the coaching team within the junior academy.

The management of the community rugby department will also be one of Bryan’s responsibilities, building on the success of last season which saw the club, via its community rugby programme, deliver over 510 hours of sports and rugby within local schools.

Bryan has recently finished his studies at Brunel University and links up with Bury having gained experience of working in similar roles for both London Scottish and Rosslyn Park.
