Thetford Bulldogs Under-18s capped off the year on high with a comfortable 3-1 home victory over Stowupland Falcons.

In challenging conditions both sides started strongly creating chances at either end but it was the Bulldogs who opened the scoring through Pedro Larinjinha, before Ethan Fuller doubled the advantage before the interval.

That momentum continued after the interval as Thetford quickly added a third through Alfie Harding to put the result beyond doubt but Falcons did grab a deserved consolation with five minutes remaining having hit the crossbar on two occasions.

Following a two week break, Walsham-le-Willows Under-13s returned to action in emphatic style, hitting the goal trail to ease past Chelmsford City in a 6-2 rout.

A Charlie Iglesias hat-trick was added to with a brace from Josh Hughes and further striker from Jake Preston to seal all three points.

The club now head into a festive break before returning to host Haverhill on January 4.
