Bull double sees Buxhall progress

In the Sunday Cup for Division One clubs, Buxhall beat Ambasadors 4-2 with Ben Bull (2), Joe Chalk and Carl Nichols on target.

Howards were 6-1 winners at home to Clapgate Lane with Matty Hayden (2), Kevin Zdrenka (2), Steve Holder and Mitchell Bryant all scoring.

Tostock Pirates defeated Felixstowe Harpers 7-6 after extra-time in a 13-goal thriller.

Ben Virtue (2), Pete Griffith, Sam Goddard, Ben Green, Harry Hogg and Chris Busby hit the target for the Pirates.

Bury Bowl’s Ash Macdonald scored a hat-trick in their 6-1 home win over Whitton Knights. Jon Bayliss, Simon Bayliss and Jondan Stannard were also on target for Bowl.

CFC Bury lost by the odd goal in nine at Haverhill Hammers with Theo Williams, Luke Spivey and Marc Hynds all scoring.

Gt Welnetham’s Robbie Anderson and Paul Dryska scored the goals that won them the match at Ixworth Pykkerel.
