Benterman jumps for joy

Bury St Edmunds-based Nick Benterman was left jumping for joy after tasting success at the Chepstow International Big Tour Grand Prix.

The Suffolk showjumper clinched overall victory in the CSI Two category aboard his consistent 11 year-old bay gelding Zorland D Volo to enjoy a memorable day at the Wales and West hosted event earlier this month.

And after paying tribute to his horse, Benterman eyed up further progress in the sport.

“He’s part of the family and the nicest person,” said Nick, on his Dutch-bred gelding.

“He deserved this win and now we hope to move up in the sport.”
