Elliott Banks-Browne can finally set his sights on a return to motocross action after making an earlier than expected recovery from a badly broken leg.

The Bury St Edmunds-based ace suffered the injury just over three months ago while competing in round six of the Arenacross Tour Championship in Glasgow and was originally told not to expect a return to riding for at least 15 weeks.

However, following an intensive rehabilitation period through Bury Physio, the 25-year-old is now preparing to make a scheduled return to the track in the MX National Series at Blaxhall Pits on June 28.

“It’s been a long hard road and one I hope I never have to go through again,” he said. “Even though we are ahead of schedule we are still sticking to the original plan of Blaxhall next month.

“It gives me a good amount of time to get my speed up to where it needs to be so I can come back where I left off and hopefully battle up front. “To do that in front of my home crowd will be great.”
