The councils have pledged to make nearby towns 'key destinations' in their own right. Engagement events will share details with the public. These will be:

- Eye Town Hall, Eye, July 11, 4.30-6pm or 6.30-8pm.

- Hadleigh Guild Room, Hadleigh, June 25, 4.30-6pm or 6.30-8pm.

- The Limes Hotel, Needham Market, June 26, 4.30-6pm or 6.30-8pm.

- Stowmarket (TBA).

A spokesman said: “The sessions will be fun as well as informative, and we would really like people who don’t normally come to these events to try it, especially young people."
