Mid Suffolk and Babergh councils look to youthful views to progress Vision for Prosperity
Mid Suffolk and Babergh councils are looking to engage with young people as they devise their Vision for Prosperity.
Ambitious proposals for Stowmarket include creating a technology hub, a £250,000 shop front improvement project and extending wifi.
The councils have pledged to make nearby towns 'key destinations' in their own right. Engagement events will share details with the public. These will be:
- Eye Town Hall, Eye, July 11, 4.30-6pm or 6.30-8pm.
- Hadleigh Guild Room, Hadleigh, June 25, 4.30-6pm or 6.30-8pm.
- The Limes Hotel, Needham Market, June 26, 4.30-6pm or 6.30-8pm.
- Stowmarket (TBA).
A spokesman said: “The sessions will be fun as well as informative, and we would really like people who don’t normally come to these events to try it, especially young people."
