Inspired by inventors such as Fleming, Edison and Franklin, youngsters at Crawford’s Primary, in Haughley, had their own ‘eureka’ moment after creating a range of gadgets and gizmos.
Working with parents at home, pupils designed and built inventions such as a sweetie shooter, breakfast cereal decider and a special light catcher.
They showcased their creations in an exhibition this week.
It was part of a whole school topic focusing on inventions.
Headteacher Emma Jones said: “It was to inspire them to want to continue their learning at home and make that link between home and school.”
