A MAN who was given eight hours to live after becoming trapped 2,400 metres underground will be the star attraction at a motivational seminar on Wednesday.
The event, called Jump Start, is the first of several coaching seminars and motivational workshops taking place across Suffolk over the next 12 months and has been organised by charity Crack On!, which aims to help young people achieve more in life.
It will feature a 60-minute presentation on fear and how it can be controlled to your advantage by motivational speaker Keith Brown.
As a young man, Mr Brown became trapped in a collapsed mine in South Africa. He was rescued and went on to become the youngest person to manage a multi-million pound gold mining operation in South Africa.
Jump Start will take place at 5.30pm at the community centre in Great Whelnetham. For full details go to www.crackon.biz or call 07979 080808.
