Youngsters from Lawshall have created art work about their village as part of a project funded by the Suffolk Community Foundation.

Members of Lawshall Youth Club have designed and painted pieces of art, capturing some of their favourite buildings and places from around the village.

Their colourful creations now form a permanent display in the village hall.

Louise Howe, youth club chairman, said villagers who attended last Saturday’s community consultation in the hall gave ‘very positive feedback’ on the art work and commented on how much it ‘brightened up the hall’.

“It was very well received,” she said.
