The 137 performers, aged four to 18, ran the musical gamut.

Younger children impressed the audience with Jospeph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Half a Sixpence, Wizard of Oz and Matilda. Stage Two children performed Sister Act, Footloose and Little Shop of Horrors.

Meanwhile, the older groups took to the stage with Legally Blonde, Saturday Night Fever and Cabaret.

Principal Caroline Ranson said: “It’s just a really good evening for the children to show-case their skills.

“Everyone enjoyed it and it gave the children the opportunity to perform at The Apex.”
