Woman taken to hospital after car overturns on A11 near Barton Mills

A driver received minor injuries after her car overturned on the A11 near Barton Mills this morning.

Police and ambulance crews from the East of England Ambulance Service were called at around 7.10am to reports that a Seat Ibiza travelling along the northbound carriageway had hit the central reservation and rolled over.

The driver, a woman in her 20s, was taken to West Suffolk Hospital with minor injuries to her face and some back pain.

The A11 northbound was closed while officers dealt with the incident and was reopened by 8.31am.
