Woman left shaken after attempted sexual assault in Brandon




A woman has been left 'shaken' after a man attempted to sexually assault her in Brandon.

The victim, aged in her 40s, was jogging towards Gas House Drove in the town at around 7.15pm yesterday (Tuesday) when the man approached her.

After the woman managed to get away, the man ran down a nearby alleyway.

He is described as being young, around 5ft 5 and of slim build. He was wearing black clothing.

The victim was left shaken but not physically harmed. She is being supported by specialist trained officers.

A police spokesman said: "Additional police officers will be on patrol in the area to provide reassurance to the local community."

Witnesses are asked to call 101 quoting crime reference 37/17920/20.
