A woman who was found dead at a property in Bury St Edmunds on Sunday has been named by police as Tracey Hammond.

Officers attended the property in Anselm Avenue after being called by the ambulance service at 10.20am.

On arrival, they found a dead woman who has now been formally identified as 38-year-old Tracey Hammond, of Anselm Avenue, Bury.

Further tests will be required to establish her cause of death after a Home Office post-mortem examination found it unascertained.

Two Bury men, a 49-year-old and a 22-year-old, arrested on suspicion of murder have since been released on police bail. They are both due to return to Bury Police Investigation Centre on January 9, 2014.

Officers are continuing to carry out inquiries to establish the circumstances leading up to Ms Hammond’s death.

Anyone with information should contact the Joint Norfolk and Suffolk Major Investigation Team on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
