A woman has admitted setting fire to a house in Thurston and being reckless with the lives of people living nearby.

Kelly Anderson, 27, of Royston Drive, Thurston, appeared at Ipswich Crown Court on Friday where she was remanded in custody to await sentencing.

She pleaded guilty to arson at a property in Royston Drive on July 13, being reckless as to whether the lives of the occupants of a neighbouring address would be endangered.

She also pleaded guilty to assaulting Alison Huntley on the same date.

Judge John Devaux told Anderson she would remain in custody until she is brought back to court next month to be sentenced.
