Police are appealing for witnesses after a vehicle failed to stop in a collision on a recently opened stretch of the A11 near Barton Mills.

Police were called just before 8.30am on Sunday December 21 to reports of a collision between two cars on the southbound carriageway, about a mile from the Fiveways roundabout.

One car, a silver Ford, had collided with another car and as a result had left the road and collided with the central reservation. No injuries were sustained during the incident.

The other vehicle involved, a silver Audi, failed to stop after the collision.

Police are keen to hear from the driver of the Audi or from anyone who may have witnessed the incident. Contact police on 101.
