Witness appeal after Thetford robbery

Police are appealing for witnesses to a robbery in Thetford in which a man had his wallet and cash stolen.

The 31-year-old was walking along St Martin’s Way at around 2.45pm on Saturday (May 30) when he was approached by a group of men.

He was pushed and his wallet, containing bank cards and cash, was stolen from his hand.

He was not injured.

The offenders are described as being aged in their late teens/early 20s and wearing hooded tops and jeans.

Anyone who may have witnessed the robbery or has any information about it is asked to contact Det Con Sarah Warner at Thetford CID on 101, or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
