Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision yesterday on the A134, just north of the A143 junction at Fornham St Martin.

Officers were called to reports of a collision between a BMW and a lorry just after 9.30am.

A 50-year-old man, who was driving the black BMW, received serious head and crush injuries and was taken to Addenbrookes Hospital by ambulance. He remains in a critical condition.

Anyone who saw the BMW before the collision or the crash itself should call the Serious Collision Investigation Team at Suffolk Police on 101, quoting CAD 94 of Wednesday April 4.
