Police are appealing for witnesses after an attempted theft from a vehicle in St Edmunds Road in Stowmarket.

Overnight between Saturday January 16 and Sunday January 17 suspects forced entry by breaking the driver’s window of a parked white Vauxhall Vivaro van.

An untidy search was made of the vehicle but it is believed that nothing was stolen.

Witnesses or anybody who saw anything suspicious are asked to call Stowmarket Police on 101 reference 37/12748/16.

Alternatively contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 or through their anonymous online form at www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
