West Suffolk prepares for World’s Biggest Coffee Morning in aid of cancer charity

People around West Suffolk are preparing for this year’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Care.

Taking place on Friday, September 25, communities are welcoming guests to enjoy coffee, cakes and games for a donation to the charity.

In Bury, there will be events at the Macmillan Unit at West Suffolk Hospital and at The Martins, in The Vinefields, which will include an unwanted presents stall.

Another will be held from 10am to 4pm at the Rawlinson Showroom. in Easlea Road, with coffee, cakes, competitions and cars.

Stowmarket Methodist Church is holding its coffee morning from 10am to midday.

The Mildenhall Club, next to Mildenhall Lodge care home, will have lots of sweet treats at its event, while guests to West Row Village Hall’s event can admire flower arrangements.

Oasis Beauty in Mildenhall is hosting an early coffee morning today (Friday) from 10am to 2pm, with cake games and a raffle.
