West Suffolk Hospital patient with coronavirus dies




A West Suffolk Hospital patient who tested positive for coronavirus has died.

The patient was in their 60s and had underlying health conditions.

Dr Stephen Dunn, chief executive of West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust, said: "Our thoughts and condolences remain with their family and loved ones at this difficult time."

It takes the total number of coronavirus-related deaths at the trust, since the start of the pandemic, to 80.

As of yesterday (July 26), there have been 486 Covid-19 cases in West Suffolk, 326 in Mid Suffolk, 263 in Babergh, 706 in Ipswich and 434 in Breckland.
