Wanted man arrested in Bury St Edmunds is due in court today

A 34-year-old man, who was wanted by Suffolk Police, is due to appear at Ipswich Magistrates Court this morning.

Wayne Bayliss, who was posted as wanted on March 27, was arrested in Bury St Edmunds yesterday and interviewed by officers following an incident at an address in Hawthorn Close, Bury.

He has been charged with criminal damage in connection with the Hawthorn Close incident and affray following an incident in St Andrew’s Street South, Bury, on February 14.

He was held in custody pending today’s court appearance.
