Fund-raisers put their best feet forward through the picturesque Fornham villages to raise £2,000 for a charity which supports people with acquired brain injuries.

Sixty people including clients and their families took on the six mile route for Headway Suffolk’s first sponsored walk on Saturday, September 5.

With some donning fancy dress and others bringing their dogs, they set off from Headway’s hub, in Olding Road, Bury St Edmunds, and journeyed through all three Fornham villages - All Saints, St Martin and St Genevieve. They enjoyed refreshments supplied by pubs The Three Kings, The Woolpack and The Tollgate.

Headway plans to make the walk an annual event and will hold its popular bike ride around Ipswich in April.
