Residents in and around Bury St Edmunds are being given the chance to vote for their favourite of the area’s nationally recognised parks.

Green spaces including the Abbey Gardens, West Stow Country Park and Nowton Park, which have all been commended with Green Flag awards, are among the contenders for the People’s Park Award 2015.

To vote, go to www.greenflagaward.org, choose East of England, zoom in to find the green flags on Bury and click on them to reveal the ‘vote for this site’ button.

You can share your vote on social media using the hashtag #MyFavouritePark.

Voting is open until September 30.
